Young men and women for four days in a row have cooked different foods for visitors from many countries of the world. In the premises of the Palace of Congresses, students who are attending the course at the Vocational Institute-ATC, have stood near their stand, cooking Mediterranean, Italian, French, and traditional Albanian cuisine.
At the Tirana International Fair, many visitors were informed about current and new programs planned for Albania and Kosovo.
The director of the Institute-ATC, Altin Zefi emphasizes for KosovaPress, that currently thousands of young people are attending studies in all programs they offer.
“For ATC it is the third time we participate, of course ATC participates in other fairs that are organized in Tirana. Not only in Tirana, but also in other cities of Albania. Even in other activities that have been held in Kosovo and other countries in the region. ATC has been operating in the market in Albania for several years, more precisely since 2014 we have started the development of professional courses, we have a total of 11 dprograms, different one-year vocational studies. And we have some other programs which are short-term and are quarterly, mainly for courses related to gastronomy, but also other courses”, he emphasizes.
The Vocational Institute-ATC is one of the largest centers in Albania, both in terms of the number of programs and the number of students.
Seven programs of this institute have already been licensed in Kosovo, whose mission is to train young people for the labor market.
“We have had great requests from Kosovo, young people from Kosovo who wanted to attend these courses and from time to time ask if there is a center in Pristina or other cities in Kosovo. After a market study we did, we saw that Kosovo did not have a similar center, much less accredited. Even with the information we received in many institutions there were not even ready-made programs that we could apply. We achieved that two years ago, we received the first licenses and accreditations for seven professional programs, where now is the second year that we develop professional courses in Kosovo “, he adds.
The Vocational Institute-ATC has 11 one-year study programs and 10 quarterly programs.
Yesterday closed the four-day international fair in Tirana, organized by Klik Ekspo Group. For the first time, six Western Balkan countries participated.
KosovaPress News Agency and the Albanian Telegraphic Agency have been the media sponsor of this fair. Both of them with their stands were participants in the International Business Fair.
