The President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, in accordance with the constitutional and legal powers, has today appointed the new member of the Central Election Commission, Alban Krasniqi.
According to the announcement of the Presidency, Krasniqi was appointed in accordance with the proposal of the parliamentary group of the Vetëvendosje Movement and according to the legislation in force, he will serve for the duration of the remaining mandate.
At the swearing-in ceremony before the president, the new member of the CEC declared that he will perform his duties in an honest, loyal, impartial, professional and conscientious manner.
