Klinaku: Some people from the Assembly are provoking the situation, the police to take action

While thousands of protesters are standing in front of the Assembly and Government building, the secretary of KLA WVA, Faton Klinaku has asked the Kosovo Police to take action because according to him, from the windows of the Assembly are seen people who are provoking the situation.

The organizations that emerged from the war of the Kosovo Liberation Army are protesting in front of the Government of Kosovo and the Assembly of Kosovo to express their opposition to the adoption of the Draft Law on raising the minimum wage but leaving out of the increase their pensions.

On Tuesday, the Assembly of Kosovo approved in principle, with 68 votes in favor, the draft law that defines the minimum wage. In favor of this draft law were the MP of Vetëvendosje Movement and those of the Serbian List, while other non-majority communities abstained. The bill was opposed by the opposition, which did not take part in the vote.

For these organizations, with the approval of this draft law, the MPs have acted illegally and against the judgment of the Constitutional Court.
