The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, at the joint press conference with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, after the “Ukraine – Southeast Europe” Summit that took place on Wednesday in Tirana, emphasized that “first of all, I want to thank Prime Minister Rama for everything you have done, that is, your personal and Albania’s support for Ukraine, both military, humanitarian and political”.
Ukrainian President Zelensky said that every nation needs to be respected and needs security.
The Ukrainian president also answered the journalists’ questions regarding his advice to the leaders of the Western Balkans and Europe in order to prevent the Ukrainian war from spreading to other countries of the globe. He said today there should be no “pauses, but to strengthen Ukraine, because Russia will not stop”.
He further said that “we must build the weapons factory and Ukraine must continue the sphere of co-production and defense”.
He also spoke about the meeting with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, for which he said that “I had a very good meeting with President Macron and it was a meeting with many initiatives, the coalition for artillery with the USA but also with other partners. We have to survive, and to survive for Ukraine means to have concrete decisions”. /A. Shala
