In Kosovo, heads of state are not among the highest paid officials in the country. They are the leaders of public enterprises and various independent agencies who are paid from 3 thousand to about 4500 euros per month.
Among the highest paid in the country is the managing director of the Privatization Agency of Kosovo (PAK), Valon Tolaj with 4 thousand 432 euros per month or 53 thousand euros per year.
