Yildirim Energy Europe Kosovo, a company within the international conglomerate YILDIRIM Group is investing over 43 million euros in Kosovo. This investment, which focuses on renewable energy, will be built during this year and will also result in new jobs.
This investment of millions of euros that is being made in the Municipality of Drenas by this company will also improve the economy of Kosovo.
The general manager of Ferronikeli, Cemil Acar, during the presentation of the ambitious project for the Solar Farm in Drenas, said that after many efforts, works and procedures, they are in the last phase to bring you closer to the construction of the solar panel plant.
Meanwhile, he hopes that at the beginning of next year they will implement this project and there will be no more production interruptions.
The Mayor of the Municipality of Drenas, Ramiz Lladrovci has assessed that with this project a great path of success has been opened for Kosovo.
While he expressed the municipality’s readiness for cooperation in this project, he added that this large investment is also proof of the positive climate in doing business.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Economy, Getoar Mjeku, said that with such projects, Kosovo is on a good path.
Meanwhile, the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Kosovo, Sabri Tunc Angili, said that with this investment, new jobs will also be created.
The minister for regional development, Fikrim Damka, said that this investment is extremely important for the country’s economy. He said that this investment with hundreds of millions of euros is on the top lists of investments in the country.
On the other hand, the president & CEO of Yildirim Holding, Robert Yuksel, has said that they are initiating the project that will reach 110 megawatts in total for the production of renewable energy.
He said that through these investments they are also helping the development of Kosovo. While he added that this product coming out of this country will be of special importance.
He also said that after this ceremony he will also meet with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti to discuss more about the investments that can be made in Kosovo, for the development of the economy in the country. /E.Krasniqi/
