With the motto “Against the state that kills women”, through a symbolic action in front of the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, the Non-Governmental Organization “Qika” demanded the dismissal of the chief prosecutor, Kujtim Munishi, in the case of Sebahate Morina, who was killed by her ex-husband.
According to them, the decision of the Constitutional Court regarding the case clearly states that the state denied Sebahata’s right to life, adding that she was killed because the Kosovo Police in Graçanica and the Basic Prosecutor’s Office in Pristina have failed to fulfill their positive obligations for the protection of her life.
The protesters demanded responsibility for the case, Leonida Molliqaj from this organization says that even after two weeks from the issuance of the decision of the Constitutional Court, they have not seen any reaction from the institutions responsible for Sebahate’s murder.
