Western Balkans Summit, Rama: Let’s not miss the opportunity from the EU growth plan
The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has said that peace must always be established between the countries of the Western Balkans, as otherwise integration into the European Union is endangered.
Rama, in the introductory speech of the EU-Western Balkan Summit, which is being held in Tirana, said that the economies of the six countries of the region cannot flourish by hindering each other’s economic movement.
He emphasized that the countries of the region should leave behind the problems of the past and deal with the future, while also recalling the start of the Berlin Process.
In addition, Rama praised the European Union, as he said, for the opportunities it is giving to the Western Balkans through the Growth Plan.
