The Hydrometeorological Institute of Kosovo has announced that this week will start with stable meteorological conditions, but there will be changes from Thursday.
According to the institute, the weather will be mostly cloudy today (Monday). The minimum temperatures will range between -2 to 1 degrees Celsius, whereas the maximum of the day is forecasted to range between 5 to 8 degrees Celsius.
“Tuesday – Mostly cloudy weather but with slight increases in maximum temperatures. The morning is forecasted to be with light frost. Fog is expected across the valleys and in high places. The minimum temperatures will range between -1 to 0 degrees Celsius, whereas the maximum of the day is forecasted to range between 6 to 9 degrees Celsius. Wednesday- It will be cloudy with short sunny intervals. The minimum temperatures will range between 0 to 3 degrees Celsius, whereas the maximums of the day are forecasted to range between 7 to 11 degrees Celsius. Thursday – Weather mostly cloudy and with rain, while in the high places it will snow. The minimum temperatures will range between 2 to 6 degrees Celsius, whereas the maximum of the day is forecasted to range between 7 to 12 degrees Celsius. Friday – Friday is forecasted to be mostly cloudy with streaks of rain, with snowflakes in the in higher altitudes. In the first hours, it is forecasted to have light to dense fog. The minimum temperatures will drop to 0 degrees Celsius, while the maximums of the day are forecasted to range between 4 to 6 degrees Celsius. The weekend is forecasted with a drop in temperatures in both extreme values”, the announcement states.
During these five forecast days, wind will blow from the southwest and northwest at a speed of 1-9 m/s.
