The Commissioner of the European Union for Enlargement and Neighbourhood, Oliver Varehelyi, has stated that the clear message for alignment with the EU comes from Kosovo. During his visit to Pristina, he was received in a meeting by the president of the country, Vjosa Osmani, after which he also spoke about the dialogue with Serbia, stressing the request for the implementation of the basic agreement, including the Association.
He also said that reforms for the rule of law in Kosovo should be accelerated, while he mentioned the delays in the justice system.
