Vetëvendosje considers that the country report evidences Kosovo’s progress in important areas that include institutional reforms, the rule of law, economic development and regional integration.
The Vetëvendosje MP, Fjolla Ujkani, said that Kosovo has made progress in fulfilling economic and European Union standards.
Ujkani made these comments at the plenary session of the Assembly of Kosovo.
The MP from the ranks of the VV, Fjolla Ujkani, before the MPs of the Assembly of Kosovo, said that the report for the country shows progress in the fight against corruption, reforms in public administration, culture, education and employment.
MP Ujkani emphasized that the removal of punitive measures imposed by the EU against Kosovo would revive and accelerate reforms.
Today’s plenary session of the Assembly of Kosovo started one hour late.
On the other hand, the three opposition parties have opposed the beginning of the session without their participation being put to the vote, on the grounds that every session is required to start with a vote.
But the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, said that the session can start even without confirming the quorum. /B.Ibishi/
