Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the violators and the abusers in many cases did not receive the punishments they deserved. Even in cases where the victims report violence, Kurti said that the institutions have not performed and implemented their legal obligations. This is what he stated during the launch of the state protocol for handling cases of sexual violence. Minister Albulena Haxhiu stated that since 2019, more than 300 cases of sexual violence have been recorded.
