Judoka Distria Krasniqi, brought Kosovo the first Olympic gold medal in the Olympic Games “Tokyo 2020”, and the second gold medal in history, after that of Majlinda Kelmendi in “Rio 2016”.
On her journey to the gold medal, Krasniqi passed the first round without a fight, in the second fight she triumphed with Ippon against the Brazilian Gabriela Chibana, and in the quarterfinals, she also defeated the Chinese judoka Chen-Hao Lin with Ippon, KosovaPress reports.
