The seventh joint meeting between Kosovo and Albania was held in Elbasan today, on November 26.
At the meeting, 13 agreements were signed between the two countries.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti said that the cooperation between the two governments will strengthen the states and will realize the dreams of citizens to live proudly in their country.
These are the 13 agreements that were signed:
1. Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on the implementation of mutual facilities in customs procedures and/or control of entry/exit of goods.
2. Cooperation protocol between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the establishment of the Intergovernmental Coordination Secretariat.
3. Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on the facilitation of procedures and conditions for obtaining a temporary residence permit.
4. Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on the rules of the local border traffic regime.
5. Amending Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on the opening of the joint border crossing point Shishtavec (Kukës) – Krusheva (Dragash) between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Kosovo.
6. Agreement between the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania and the Government of the Republic of Kosovo on mutual legal assistance in civil and commercial matters.
7. Agreement on social security between the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Kosovo.
8. Joint Annual Cultural Calendar between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo
9. Agreement on cooperation between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of the Republic of Kosovo in the field of cultural heritage and museums.
10. Memorandum of cooperation between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure of the Republic of Kosovo for the construction of the Durrës-Prishtina railway.
11. Cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers of the Republic of Kosovo.
12. Cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Education and Sports of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation of the Republic of Kosovo in the field of mutual recognition and unification of diplomas, certificates and scientific degrees issued by higher education institutions and other authorized institutions.
13. Cooperation agreement in the field of agriculture between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development of the Republic of Kosovo.
