Albanian and Serbian analysts predict a tense situation with the possibility of escalation at any moment for the north of the country, after yesterday’s developments in that part.
According to them, if the snap elections are held on December 18 and 25, there may be clashes, casualties, and even war.
Nexhmedin Spahiu, political analyst, has informed KosovaPress that elections should not be organized in the north without a political agreement being reached beforehand.
He emphasized the appointment of temporary administrators in northern municipalities as a better option than holding elections.
Spahiu said that holding the elections would be a challenge for Pristina and Belgrade, where there would be fights and victims.
