The two-day workshop started on July 15-16, regarding the discussion of the initial draft law on verification and confiscation of unjustified wealth, in which, in addition to officials of the Ministry of Justice, representatives of institutions, civil society organizations, international organizations, and independent experts are present.
In his introductory speech, the deputy minister, Blerim Sallahu, initially welcomed those present, emphasizing the importance of completing the law. According to Sallahu, this draft law, which will contain material and procedural provisions, has as its main function the return of illegally obtained wealth.
