The mayor of Pristina, Përparim Rama, has said that the violence shown last night in the match BC Prishtina – BC TrepCa is unacceptable and that there is no place for it in the capital or anywhere else.
He has written on his Facebook account that they are happy that BC Prishtina won the Super Cup last night, but as he said, the violence that was shown dimmed the joy of the victory.
“The violence shown last night in the BC Prishtina – KB Trepça match is unacceptable and has no place in the capital, or anywhere else! We are happy that BC Prishtina won the Super Cup last night, but the violence that was shown dimmed the joy of the well-deserved victory,” he wrote.
He said that sport is about the competitive spirit in the spirit of tolerance and mutual respect, therefore I call on the fans to cultivate such a spirit.
