The committee for the list of medical products and consumables is expected to submit the updated list of essential drugs to the Ministry of Health in January next year.
The revision of this list is seen as an urgent need for Kosovar patients.
The chairman of the committee of the list of medical products and consumables, Driton Vela, said that most of the sub-committees have already offered new proposals to enrich the list of essential drugs, therefore, he believes that in January they will be able to have ready a report for this list.
According to him, this list will be compiled according to the standards of the World Health Organization.
