As a result of the uncontrolled use of antibiotics as well as their purchase without a doctor’s prescription, antimicrobial resistance is also a challenge for Kosovo health system. In 2050, if the world continues with the trend of misuse in human and veterinary medicine, then it is predicted that 10 million more people will die than from cancer.
