This Thursday, the match will begin in the “Play-Off” finals of the Kosovo Super League in basketball between Trepça and Golden Eagle Ylli for the championship title.
Whichever, Trepça or Ylli scores the first three victories in these finals will be declared champions, reports KosovaPress.
The first match will be played at the “Minatori” sports hall in Mitrovica, and up to five matches can be played.
The team from Mitrovica finished the regular season in first place with 25 wins and three losses, whereas the team from Theranda finished in third place with 19 wins and nine losses. Of the three losses of “Miners”, two have come from the team from Theranda in regular competitions.
These two teams had met in the final of the Unique League, which ended with the victory of Mitrovica in a dramatic challenge 66:67.
Trepça has won the Cup and the Super Cup and is looking for the fourth trophy of this edition, whereas Ylli aims to bring the title back to the city of Suhareka and win it for the third time in history.
