In the Ulpiana neighborhood in the capital today, the renovation works of 5 skyscrapers were inaugurated as part of the Renovations for Efficiency of residential buildings-AER of the SEEK program, financed by the Millennium Challenges Corporation and implemented by the Kosovo Millennium Foundation.
The chief executive officer of the MCC, Alice Albright, who is the daughter of the former American secretary Madeleine Albright, also participated in this inauguration.
Albright said that MCC together with the Government of Kosovo will deepen the cooperation for investments in the field of energy.
The US Ambassador to Kosovo, Jeffrey Hovenier, said that the energy crisis in Europe has a greater impact on Kosovo, but added that the US is helping Kosovo reduce coal poverty.
