The Basic Prosecution in Peja, during the period January-March of this year, has filed a total of 15 indictments, against 15 persons, for the criminal offense “Illegal construction”, under Article 359 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. In a press release, the Basic Prosecution of Peja has announced that during 2021, for the criminal offense “Illegal construction”, has filed a total of 91 (ninety one) indictments, against 96 (ninety six) persons for committing this criminal offense in territorial jurisdiction of the Basic Prosecution of Peja.
Whereas, three indictments were filed against three persons during 2021, for the criminal offense “Illegal construction works”, under Article 360 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. Most of these cases during 2021 and 2022 are as a result of investigations initiated on the initiative of the State Prosecutor, cases which are related to abuse of office, which are also the subject of investigations of this institution.
