The Special Prosecution of Kosovo, following the developments of the investigation, has today filed an indictment at the Basic Court in Pristina against two defendants B.Sh. and M.Q.
KosovaPress learns from sources in relevant institutions that the network of collaborators of the Serbian service (BIA) is much wider.
“Connections and contacts, both direct and indirect, have been identified with individuals from different categories – both those of public importance and those of non-public importance, with whom the Prosecution is expected to deal with,” say the same sources.
Meanwhile, the announcement of the Special Prosecution states that there is a well-founded suspicion that Bedri Shabani and Muharrem Qerimi have committed the criminal offense of “espionage.”
“For the two defendants B.Sh and M. Q. there is a well-founded suspicion that each of them, by their actions, committed the criminal offense of ‘Espionage’ under Article 124 paragraph 3 of the Criminal Code of Kosovo, while the defendant M.Q. also committed the criminal offense of ‘Unauthorized possession, control or possession of weapons’ under Article 366 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of Kosovo,” the Prosecution’s announcement states…
