Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, today participated in the conference marking the beginning of the piloting of the social assistance reform scheme in Kosovo.
In his speech, Kurti said this scheme was designed by the Ministry of Finance and the World Bank, which, according to him, ensures equality for all and promotes employment.
Kurti said that this scheme assesses poverty for each family and as such ensures that families with poor conditions will be supported by the Government.
The head of the Government also called on families with an income of less than 100 euros per member per month to apply to be part of the pilot in E-Kosovo.
Whereas, Minister Murati announced that they have designed another scheme that will not be discriminatory.
He further announced how the new scheme will work.
