The Municipality of Prishtina strongly condemns the unacceptable and harmful act by the Ministry of Culture, as the perennial pine trees, which were an important element of the space around the National Theater, were destroyed without the permission of the municipality and without notifying any responsible authority.
According to the reaction, moreover, the Ministry of Culture has acted irresponsibly, without obtaining any prior expertise or environmental impact analysis before the start of the works.
“The Ministry of Culture must be held responsible and take measures to stop such actions and to compensate for the damages that have been caused”, reads the reaction.
