23 years after the massacre in Krusha e Vogel, today are reburied the mortal remains of seven war victims, who were killed and disappeared by the Serbian armed forces in this massacre, on March 26, 1999. Nuredin Shehu, Hysen Zylfiu, Ahmet Berisha, Nue Prenkaj, Sahit Shehu, Sami Shehu and Skyfer Batusha were reburied in the Martyrs’ Cemetery Complex in the village of Krusha e Vogel with calls to bring to justice those who comitted the massacre that took the lives of 112 Albanians.
In his speech, Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the history of the state of Kosovo can not be written without Krusha e Vogel and Krusha e Madhe. He said that, in addition to those who are no longer among us, today we bow to the strength of the survivors of the massacre in Krusha e Vogel, to raise life on the emptiness and ashes they found when they returned after three months in the village.
