The Ministry of Health has approved the administration of the third dose of vaccine against COVID-19 for the 12+ age group, for persons who received the second dose of vaccine against COVID-19, at least five months ago.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Health, so far vaccination with the third dose has been allowed for persons over 18+, while the age group 12-17 years could be vaccinated only with the first and second dose.
“Vaccination against COVID-19 continues to be carried out in the vaccination units within the Primary Health Care in the municipalities of Kosovo. The Ministry of Health calls on citizens to get vaccinated without any hesitation, because in recent days there has been an increase in new cases of COVID-19, while vaccination has proven to be the best and most effective way to prevent infection from COVID- 19, and severe forms of the disease and deaths from COVID-19 “, it is said in the communiqué.
