The Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers has reacted today regarding the price of the property tax increase.
The Ministry of Finance emphasized that the property tax is a tax, which is collected by the municipalities and constitutes one of the main sources of own revenues for the municipalities.
MF has announced that based on the Law on Property Tax, it is obliged to assess real estate on a regular basis, while the tax rate is determined by the municipalities themselves.
