The overthrow of the Kurti Government and the formation of the new executive, left the leaders of the Vetëvendosje without institutional posts.
Albin Kurti, Glauk Konjufca, Albulena Haxhiu, Arben Vitia and Haki Abazi, who together in last year’s elections received over 300 thousand votes, have been left out of the legislative. Their absence in the Assembly and not even being in the executive, left large gaps within the former ruling party’s parliamentary group.
