The Committee for Security and Defense Issues has recommended the Kosovo Security Strategy 2022-2027 to the Assembly for approval, with five votes in favor, two against and one abstention.
The review and voting of the document were done without the presence of the media, while after the meeting of the committee it was said that they expect it to be an item on the agenda in the plenary session next week.
The MP from the Vetëvendosje Movement, Enver Dugolli, said that this is one of the most important documents that identifies the various risks, but also guides the institutions on how to address them.
“In the end, with 5 votes in favor and 2 against, one abstention, the commission made a decision to recommend the approval of this strategy to the Assembly…. After this meeting, the session will proceed, and I believe that next week this agenda item will be voted on,” said Dugolli.
