The interviewing of witnesses from KEDS and KESCO has failed in the Investigative Committee for Energy.
The Chairman of the Parliamentary Investigative Committee regarding the decision-making process in the energy sector for the period 2006-2022, at the legislative, executive, regulatory and public enterprise levels, Hajdar Beqa emphasized that the witnesses of KEDS and KESCO have given a justification to the administration today they will not be able to be present in the Committee.
Beqa emphasized that without their testimony there cannot be a complete investigative report, and added that they will look at the possibilities for their interview to take place before the end of the commission’s mandate.
At the request of the chairman Beqa, the meeting continued without a quorum and without the media for other, as he said, technical issues.
Witnesses from KEDS and KESCO that were scheduled for interview today: Vedi Yesilkilic, Chief Executive of KEDS 2013-2014, George Karagutoff, Chief Executive of KEDS 2013-2019, Alper Erbas, Chief Executive of KEDS 2019-2021, Alpin Dogan, currently Chief Executive. Executive of KEDS, Serhat Mesut Dinc, currently Chief Executive of KESCO.
