Over three thousand consumers connected to the city heating system in Pristina have installed thermostats in their radiators. Consumers from this winter will no longer need to open the windows from excessive heating in the apartments where they live. The 23 authorized teams have since July started knocking on customers’ doors to install these devices, all of which are free. The same will pay the heating bill depending on the consumption, not on the square meters of the space which is heated.
During the week, measuring devices were installed in the radiators of the 70-year-old’s Aleate Statovci Rrmoku apartment. Aleate Statovci Rrmoku lives on the Sunny Hill and says that the excessive heating in the past years has caused them discomfort.
The spokeswoman of the “Termokos” city heating plant, Afërdita Uka, tells KosovaPress that the implementation phase of the “Prishtina Heat Save” project has started in July.
