The municipality of Pristina has started installing security cameras in schools and nurseries in the villages of this municipality, in an attempt to minimize violence and other criminal cases in these institutions.
The plan for the installation of security cameras in schools and nurseries in the capital began in December 2022 and the municipality of Pristina has already moved to the villages.
Recently, cameras have also been placed in the “Ali Kelmendi” school, in Barileva, in order for the students to feel safe in the school premises.
The director of education in Pristina, Besiana Musmurati, has stated for KosovaPress that the installation of cameras is being done as cases of violence in schools must be minimized.
