The factory for the production of cement has released a statement regarding the increase in the price of cement, one day after the protest of the concrete manufacturing businesses in front of the facility of this factory.
While business representatives are opposing the increase in the price of cement, Sharrcem says that the price increase is due to the increase in energy costs in the world.
“The factory for the production of cement Sharrcem buys electricity in international markets where the price has multiplied and this directly affects the cost of production”, it is stated in the press release that Sharrcem issued on Tuesday.
According to Sharrcem, the trends and developments in Kosovo are being closely monitored, in order to take appropriate measures.
