Commercial banks in the country with foreign capital that are realizing huge profit growth from year to year, are withdrawing their high dividends without paying tax to the state of Kosovo.
The Governor of the Central Bank of Kosovo, Fehmi Mehmeti, has not indicated the amounts of dividends withdrawn in 2022 by the banks, but he has justified these withdrawals.
Governor Mehmeti told KosovaPress that these banks with foreign capital that draw dividends do not pay tax to the state of Kosovo.
