The Government of Kosovo has approved the Draft Law on the Budget for 2025, which is worth 3.6 billion euros. After the approval in the government, the Draft Law on the Budget will be sent to the Assembly of Kosovo for approval.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has given details about the draft budget for 2025.
Kurti, in front of the government cabinet, said that the budget for next year is 3.6 billion euros.
He specified the allocation of the budget in certain areas, where he announced that 930 million will be for capital investments.
“916 million euros for salaries in the public sector, 105 million euros for health needs, 87 million euros for security and protection, for capital investments we have allocated 930 million euros”, he said.
According to him, the salary increase in the public sector will be done within the framework of economic growth. He also spoke about the opposition parties, calling their promises to increase salaries in the public sector as empty promises.
