The Government of Kosovo in today’s meeting has approved the draft concept document for the establishment of the mechanism for documenting crimes committed during the war in Kosovo, a mechanism which is expected to be done by a special law. The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti said that the creation of this mechanism is the right action for justice.
The head of the executive said that even 22 years after the war, addressing the crimes committed during the war in Kosovo is far from what they want. The Prime Minister said that through documenting war crimes it is time to institutionalize and protect collective memory.
