The inclusion of the diaspora in diplomacy is being considered an urgent need by the government. The Prime Minister Albin Kurti said they are working to strengthen the diaspora’s mediating role and address their political rights. At the roundtable for diaspora rights, he stressed that they see the diaspora as human capital and not just financial capital.
Before the representatives of the civil society, the Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that 43 percent of the families in Kosovo have at least one member who lives in the diaspora.
