The patrol unit of the south police station in Pristina has detained a person suspected of misuse of bank cards, as it is suspected that the same person with cloned cards has attempted or withdrawn money from the ATMs of various banks in Kosovo.
According to the Police, a mobile phone, a SIM card, 1200 euros in cash, about 387.02 British Pounds, 27 different bank cards, suspected to be cloned, were seized as evidence.
“The case “Issuing blank or fake checks and misuse of bank or credit cards” has been initiated against the suspect. By decision of the Prosecutor, the suspect has been detained for 48 hours and according to the recommendations, further actions will be taken according to the legal procedures”, the announcement states.
