Two of the injured from the explosion of the gas cylinder in Kçiq who are continuing treatment in Intensive Care at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo (UCCK) are dependent on medical equipment, while another patient is conscious, although the injuries are serious.
This is what Shaqir Uka, the head of Intensive Care Clinic at UCCK, told KosovaPress, who said that their condition is stable, but that it does not rule out the danger to life, as according to him the injuries are serious.
Uka mentions that all three patients are female, and their ages are 12, 56 and 58 years old.
He emphasizes that patients require long and intensive treatment.
Meanwhile, in a written response to KosovaPress, the director of the Plastic Surgery Clinic, Violeta Zatriqi, says that the condition of the six patients lying in this clinic is stable.
On Saturday, the Kosova Police announced that 14 people suffered bodily injuries as a result of the explosion of a gas cylinder in the basement of the house where they were staying in Kçiq Madh, South Mitrovica.
