Through the project “Kosova state of judo” the expansiontension and demonstration of the sport of judo in primary schools throughout Kosovo is continuing.
The demonstration of this sport today took place at the “Jeta e Re” elementary school in the village of Grema, in Ferizaj, KosovaPress reports.
“Together with the coach of the judo club, “Kastrioti”, Mal Musa and the judokas, Vlera Gashi, Erza Sadriu, Jetesa Baliu, Eljesa Salihu, Agron Hamza, Ermir Bytyqi, Erion Guta, we demonstrated the basic movements of judo to the participating students. This was the first demonstration carried out in rural areas and the first demonstration where teachers and parents were involved, increasing the interest in registrations in judo clubs”, says the official website of the Judo Federation.
The state program, “Kosovo, a country of judo”, through the component, “Judo in schools – young judokas”, aims to develop the massification and integration of judo discipline in all schools and municipalities of Kosovo.
