The Auditor General of Kosovo, Besnik Osmani assessed as successful the implementation of the twinning project “Further strengthening of the influence of the National Audit Office in Kosovo”, emphasizing that the influence of this office has been further strengthened in providing recommendations and their implementation by budget organizations in order to improve and increase transparency and accountability.
Osmani on the occasion of the completion of this project, said that the taxes of citizens from the EU have gone to the right address, as the project has good results. The project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Supreme Audit Office of Poland with the support of experts from the Supreme Audit Institutions of Croatia, the Czech Republic, Latvia, Lithuania and Portugal.
