The two suspects for abuse of official duty during the elections and taking bribes in connection with votes appeared today before the court, in the Basic Court of Prishtina. The hearing was held in connection with the request of the Prosecution that both be remanded in custody. The defense of the two suspects A.K and S.M has opposed the detention measure.
Following the closed-door hearing, A.K.’s defense attorney, Arben Geci said that the defense has opposed the detention measure for his client and expects that the measures for regular procedure will continue against him.
