Today, President Vjosa Osmani signed the Book of Condolences at the British Embassy in Pristina, on the occasion of the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
“Today I signed the Book of Condolences at Great Britain embassy in Kosovo to once again express our profound sorrow for the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty’s historic reign and extraordinary public service during her lifetime is an inspiration to us all”, wrote Osmani in a Twitter post.
Queen Elizabeth II passed away last Thursday at the age of 96, after a 70-year reign. Her funeral will be held on September 19.
