The administration of the booster dose and the third dose of COVID-19 vaccine will start tomorrow in Kosovo. The health experts consider that these two types of doses come at the right time as studies have shown that they increase the level of neutralizing antibodies up to 40 times. The citizens have also welcomed this decision and say that as soon as they are notified by the Ministry of Health about the term, they will not hesitate but will take either the booster dose or the third.
The booster dose will be available to persons who have received two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, but over time their immunity has decreased, while the third dose will be taken by all citizens who have received both doses of the vaccine, but who have weak immunity or have any concomitant disease.
