The city of Mitrovica was one of the cities that suffered the most during the floods that hit the country in January of this year, with significant damages to households and businesses.
The value of the damage in the south of this city, where about 200 families were damaged, is estimated to have been around 9 million euros, while in the north it was over half a million euros. The compensation of these damages has not yet started, neither from the municipal funds intended for the damaged, nor from the Government of Kosovo.
