The Central Election Commission has expressed its readiness to organize the elections in the four northern municipalities of the country scheduled to be held on December 18 and 25. At Saturday’s meeting, 14 candidates of Vetëvendosje for the Municipal Assembly of Leposaviq were certified, but this recommendation of the Office for the Registration of Political Parties was evaluated as a negative precedent.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Secretariat of the Central Election Commission, Burim Ahmetaj, in his report, also read a reaction of the officials of the Municipal Election Commissions (MEC), of the municipalities of North Mitrovica, Zveçan, Leposavic and Zubin Potok, who said that they do not escape their responsibilities…
