The Kosovo Customs has reacted after the arrest of two people today in Ferizaj on suspicion of spying for the Serbian BIA, saying that the person Bedri Shabani was fired from his position at the customs 20 years ago, specifically at the beginning of 2004.
His dismissal was due to violations of the Kosovo Customs Code of Conduct, related to unauthorized communications with mass media. Since his dismissal, the person in question has had no connection with the Kosovo Customs, it is stated in the clarification.

The Specialist Prosecutor’s Office of Kosovo announces that after several months of investigations, today in cooperation with the Kosovo Police and the KIA, it conducted raids in two locations in Kosovo and arrested two persons with Kosovar citizenship, suspected of committing the criminal offense of espionage.
