The Assembly of Kosovo has asked the Government of Kosovo to take the necessary actions to submit the application for membership in NATO, the European Union, the Council of Europe and other international organizations. In presenting the resolution condemning the Russian aggression in Ukraine, the legislature has asked the five EU countries to recognize Kosovo’s independence.
