The Social Democratic Party (PSD) has organized an action in front of the Assembly of Kosovo to oppose the amendment and completion of the Law on the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC).
They have placed a doll with photos of Prime Minister Albin Kurti in front of the doors of the Assembly dressed as a prosecutor with the words “I want to become a prosecutor”.
Zgjim Hyseni from PSD mentioned the government’s efforts to influence the election of the chief prosecutor.
He also mentioned the preliminary efforts of the ruling party, which were rejected by the Constitutional Court.
Hyseni said that today it is expected that this law will be voted in principle. He invited the MPs not to vote in favor of this law and called for this matter to be followed carefully.
Hyseni has informed that in order to prevent this, they will make efforts to increase the range of protest organizations, emphasizing that there are clear constitutional violations.
